Disney's Lion King Jr

Ages: 6 - 18
Creative Grounds Fine Arts Academy is proud to present Disney's Lion King Jr, through special arrangement with Music Theatre International.
This show is open to students ages 7 through 18
Below you will find the audition slots for the production. Please select a timeframe that works for you. You will be here for appoximately 60 minutes from start to finish of the audition process.

Generally, Rehearsals will be Tuesdays and Thursday and Saturdays. Please review the Calendar for details.
Rehearsals will be held at the Unversity of Indianapolis - Ransburg Auditorium
Performances will be held in person at the University of Indianapolis
Performance dates are set for October 8-11, 2026.

Total Cost for the show is $260 - This includes the audition fee of $35 paid now. Show Fee may be split into payments but must be paid in full by tech week.
If you wish to pay electronically, you may do so ONLY when you register here.
Audition Fees are Non-Refundable and may be transferred to another Fall 2026 production if space is available, for the same participant.
Les Mis School Edition

This show is open to students ages 12 through 18.

Imagination Station (Ages 4-6)

Imagination Station (Ages 4–6) Ignite your child's creativity through the magic of theater! This early-elementary storytelling class uses fairy tales and guided drama activities to help young children build confidence and express themselves.
Skills We Build Through Play:
- Theater Fundamentals: Learn voice projection, clear articulation, and expressive movement.
- Social Connections: Make new friends through active group scene work and character games.
- Life Skills: Foster early leadership, communication, and out-of-the-box creative thinking.
- The Big Finale: Every student takes part in a full-class drama script for an exciting end-of-unit performance!
Location: Production Center (Off County Line Road, near Costco)

Character Quest (Ages 7-11)

Character Quest is our class for ages 7 through 11.
Step into the heart of storytelling. This class guides young performers in creating believable, multi-dimensional characters using voice, movement, emotion, and intention.
What young actors will experience:
- Character Building: Use scene work and improv to make strong, creative acting choices.
- Monologue Work: Receive individual coaching to master a solo performance.
- Ensemble Production: Collaborate on a full-class drama script culminating in an exciting end-of-unit performance.
Whether your child is a natural performer or looking to build self-expression, Character Quest provides the perfect stage for their confidence to grow.

Actors Workshop (Ages 11-18)

Actor’s Workshop (Ages 11–18) Great actors aren't just born—they’re made through teamwork, imagination, and practice! This workshop steps off the traditional page and onto the stage to help teens develop crucial life skills through theater arts.
What students will master:
- Confidence & Clarity: Hone public speaking and presentation skills.
- Empathy & Connection: Dive into diverse characters through script work and role-playing.
- Adaptability: Learn to think on your feet with fast-paced improvisation.
- Collaboration: Work closely with peers to bring scenes and stories to life.
No matter where their future leads, the resilience and communication skills learned here will prepare them for success both on and off the stage.
