Unmasked - Summer Camp - Ages 10-18

Come unmask the art of storytelling. Masks have been used for centuries to tell stories. During this week of camp we will explore this ancient tradition and explore modern masked Broadway characters like the Phantom, Jekyll and Hyde and others through music, choreography and scene work. Campers will also have the opportunity to create their own theater mask throughout the week. This week will feature a showcase at the end of the week.

 

Unmasked - Summer Camp is for Campers Ages 10-18. Campers will perform in a showcase at the end of the week on Friday at 4:30. 

ALL SUMMER CAMPS WILL TAKE PLACE at the University of Indianapolis - Ransburg Auditorium.

NEW THIS YEAR - Before & After Care is available. Camp takes place from 9:00-4:30, but you can drop off as early as 8:00AM and pick up as late as 5:30. This is available at an additional $60 per camper.

Students will need to bring a lunch each day. Snacks, water, and crafts will be provided. All camp fees are non-refundable.  Contact Mark@cgfinearts.org if you believe a special circumstance warrants a partial refund.

Broadway Justice League - Dinner Theatre Summer Camp

This Week Long Camp concludes with an Original Dinner Theater Performance at the end of the week. Come walk the red carpet with the Broadway Justice League as they host their annual fundraising gala to help save Broadway from the Villains that want to tear down Broadway to build a superhighway in the Sky, this fun spoof will feature music, improvisation and choreography.

Dinner Theatre Camp is open to those ages 12 through 18. 

Monday through Friday the camp will be 5:30-10:00 PM.  Saturday camp will begin at 10:30am and go until performances are done, most likely around 7:30PM. Students will share the production on Saturday July 18th.  

ALL SUMMER CAMPS WILL TAKE PLACE at the University of Indianapolis - Ransburg Auditorium. Dinner Theatre Performance location will be in the Student Center at UIndy.

Students should eat dinner prior to arriving at camp. Snacks and water will be provided. All camp fees are non-refundable.  Contact Mark@cgfinearts.org if you believe a special circumstance warrants a partial refund.

Unleashed - Auditions & Callbacks Workshop - Summer Camp

Unleash Your Full Potential with this intensive training camp focusing on helping students to prepare for Auditions and Callbacks. This week of camp gives campers the opportunity to sharpen their skills through coaching in acting, voice , choreography and improvisation skills. This week concludes with a Mock Audition and feedback from industry professionals.

This is an opportunity to build an acting portfolio. Actors will learn Monologues, 1 minute music cuts, headshots and more. This camp will feature an Artist’s Showcase where students will perform in front of a live audience and industry professionals on Friday. 

Students will recieve instruction from Christa Zook (Choreo), Mark Landis (Music), and Katie Landis (Script). 

We have split this camp into two "sessions", to limit the number of students based on age to participate in the camp (7-12 years of age Session & 13-18 years of age Session)

Disney's Lion King Jr

This show is open to students ages 7 through 18

Performances will be held in person at the University of Indianapolis

This show will be open to all students ages 7 through adults!!

Imagination Station (Ages 4-6)

Imagination Station (Ages 4–6) Ignite your child's creativity through the magic of theater! This early-elementary storytelling class uses fairy tales and guided drama activities to help young children build confidence and express themselves.

Skills We Build Through Play:

  • Theater Fundamentals: Learn voice projection, clear articulation, and expressive movement.
  • Social Connections: Make new friends through active group scene work and character games.
  • Life Skills: Foster early leadership, communication, and out-of-the-box creative thinking.
  • The Big Finale: Every student takes part in a full-class drama script for an exciting end-of-unit performance!

Location: Production Center (Off County Line Road, near Costco)

Character Quest (Ages 7-11)

Character Quest is our class for ages 7 through 11.

Step into the heart of storytelling. This class guides young performers in creating believable, multi-dimensional characters using voice, movement, emotion, and intention.

What young actors will experience:

  • Character Building: Use scene work and improv to make strong, creative acting choices.
  • Monologue Work: Receive individual coaching to master a solo performance.
  • Ensemble Production: Collaborate on a full-class drama script culminating in an exciting end-of-unit performance.

Whether your child is a natural performer or looking to build self-expression, Character Quest provides the perfect stage for their confidence to grow.
