Oliver The Musical

Creative Grounds Fine Arts Academy is proud to present Oliver The Musical, through special arrangement with Music Theatre International. 

This show will be open to all students ages 8 through adults!!

Below you will find the audition slots for the production. Please select a timeframe that works for you. You will be here for appoximately 60 minutes from start to finish of the audition process.

Click here to view the Spring 2025 Production Dates on our Google Drive Folder, for ALL Spring Shows. These dates will be added to the Creative Grounds Calendar on the main website as well. Excessive absences should be avoided. Please plan accordingly. 

Generally, rehearsals will be Fridays 6:00-9:30 and Saturdays 1:00-5:30. Review the calendar for full details.

Rehearsals will be held at The University of Indianapolis - Ransburg Auditorium. 

Performances will be held in person at the University Of Indianapolis - Ransburg Auditorium.

Performance dates are set for May 15-18, 2025.

Total Cost for the show is $260 - This includes the audition fee of $35 paid now. Show Fee may be split into payments but must be paid in full by tech week. If you wish to pay electronically, you may do so ONLY when you register here. 

Audition Fees are Non-Refundable and may be transferred to another Spring 2025 production if space is available, for the same participant.

Once Upon A Time (Ages 5-10)

Imagination Station is our class for ages 5 through 10.

This Storytelling class is designed for Elementary students. During Session 1 classes explore the story of Snow White through guided drama activities. Includes a whole class drama script for an end of unit performance  This class encourage students to be themselves while aiding in the development of leadership, communication skills, & creative thinking. Make friends and learn fundamentals like projection, articulation, dramatic movement, & improvisation. Engage in imaginative character building & active group scene work.

All classes are held at the Production Center off County Line Road near Costco.

Foundations of Acting (Ages 11-18)

This acting class is designed to enhance life skills through engaging and dynamic theater activities. Students will explore creativity, collaboration, and communication in a supportive environment. Through improvisation, role-playing, and script work, participants will develop self-confidence and empathy as they step into different characters' shoes. The class fosters teamwork as students work together on scenes and performances, learning to listen and adapt to others. Public speaking and presentation skills are honed, encouraging clarity and expressiveness. By embracing storytelling and imagination, students gain resilience, adaptability, and problem-solving skills, preparing them for success both on and off the stage.

All classes will be held at the Production Center off County Line Road near Costco.

Pirates, Knights & Princesses - Summer Camp

Calendar Next available session starts Jun 9, 2025 at 9 am

Journey Through Time: Pirates, Knights & Pricesses is for students age 5-10 and is a great introductory camp to the bright lights of the stage with instruction in music, dance and acting! This camp includes music from Tangled, Aladdin, and more! This camp also includes fun crafts and games of course! There will be a showcase at the end of the week on Friday at 4:30.

ALL SUMMER CAMPS WILL TAKE PLACE at the University of Indianapolis - Ransburg Auditorium.

NEW THIS YEAR - Before & After Care is available. Camp takes place from 9:00-4:30, but you can drop off as early as 8:00AM and pick up as late as 5:30. This is available at an additional $60 per camper.

Stories of Change - Summer Camp

Stories of Change - Campers Ages 11-18 - Journey Through Time through stories of change and revolution.  This week includes music from Newsies, Hamilton, Les Mis and more!  Campers will perform in a showcase at the end of the week on Friday at 4:30. 

ALL SUMMER CAMPS WILL TAKE PLACE at the University of Indianapolis - Ransburg Auditorium.

NEW THIS YEAR - Before & After Care is available. Camp takes place from 9:00-4:30, but you can drop off as early as 8:00AM and pick up as late as 5:30. This is available at an additional $60 per camper.

Far Off Places - Summer Camp

Far Off Places - Campers Ages 7-12 will Journey Through Time to far off places featuring music from Alice in Wonderland, Narnia, Peter Pan and more.  Campers will perform in a showcase at the end of the week on Friday at 4:30. 

NEW THIS YEAR - Before & After Care is available. Camp takes place from 9:00-4:30, but you can drop off as early as 8:00AM and pick up as late as 5:30. This is available at an additional $60 per camper.

1969 - Dinner Theatre Summer Camp

Calendar Next available session starts Jul 14, 2025 at 5:30 pm

This Summer Camp is an intensive week where students will learn a full dinner theatre experience, work improv skills, music, and create choreography for the show. The show will feature music from the 1960-1970's.  Dinner Theatre Camp is open to those ages 12 through 18. 

Monday through Friday the camp will be 5:30-10:00 PM.  Saturday camp will begin at 10:30am and go until performances are done, most likely around 7:30PM. Students will share the production on Saturday July 19th.  

ALL SUMMER CAMPS WILL TAKE PLACE at the University of Indianapolis - Ransburg Auditorium. Dinner Theatre Performance location will be in the Student Center at UIndy.

Students should eat dinner prior to arriving at camp. Snacks and water will be provided. All camp fees are non-refundable.  Contact Mark@cgfinearts.org if you believe a special circumstance warrants a partial refund.
